With her family by her side, Lorna M. (Herald) Kellams lost her battle with cancer at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville on Wednesday, June 15th. She was born on May 31st, 1931, in Indianapolis to the late Paul and Hazel Herald.

Lorna was a warm, caring and wonderful mother, step-mother and grandmother. She left her family with many wonderful memories and stories that will be recounted for years to come. She touched the lives of many people with her crocheted blankets, toys, and family heirlooms. She was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

Lorna is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Donald and Sandra Herald of Indianapolis, Paula K (Ragan) Branam of Veetersburg, IN, daughter of the late Samuel Ragan, Nancy A (Kellams) Peters of Noblesville and step daughter Jeannie (Kellams) Draper of Indianapolis, daughters of the late John Kellams. She had 11 grandchildren and 17 great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Hazel (Bailey) Herald and her husband, John Kellams.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 2:00p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses on 9900 E. 191st Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Riverview Hospital Foundation, PO Box 220, Noblesville IN 46060.
